Since the age of 9, Iíve performed in dozens of film, television, video and theatrical productions as an Extra, Bit Player, Day Player, Supporting Player and Lead, as needed. Iíve studied, taught and designed curriculum for Improv and Drama workshops since 1989 at various venues throughout Chicago, including The Players Workshop of Second City, Lake Shore Cultural Center, Lincoln Park Cultural Center and Gallery 37. Iíve also taught Character Development workshops for the Chicago Screenwriters Network and Telliní Tales Theatre company.
In the past five years, Iíve starred, or been featured, in many studio and independent films, educational films, PSAs and industrials. Iíve worked with film students from Columbia College Chicago, Northwestern University, DePaul University, The Art Institute of Chicago and The Illinois Institute of Art. Many of the characters and speeches were based in Improv, and were a collaborative effort. Several of these films have been in film festivals and several of the Directors have received Awards and/or Grants for these films. I am proud to have been part of their creative process and vision.
